Experience true, spontaneous adventure with The Random Traveler. In each episode our traveler, Tony D’Amico, leaves on the next available plane, train or bus out of town with only a ticket and $500 dollars to make the most of it.

Upon getting his ticket out of town, Tony and the show’s audience will begin to learn about the random location immediately through the people Tony meets en-route, his trusty Blackberry and of course Tony’s first hand experience. The people Tony meets along the way will provide a crucial element of The Random Traveler, directing him to hidden destinations, authentic local culture and providing solid advice.

When Tony arrives at his random destination, he will explore the towns, cities and/or neighborhoods through the local people. How he chooses to spend his $500, the activities he participates in and the people he meets along the way will be form the basis for the show. Ultimately, Tony discovers not only what makes a place interesting to visit, but also what makes it special to the people who live there. All with the fresh, open-minded curiosity, energy and sense of humor that Tony possesses.
